CCEI Adds Two New Online Certificate Programs, the Child Development Certificate and the Health and Safety CertificateChildCare Education Institute (CCEI) continues to expand its online professional development options available to the child care industry with the addition of two certificate programs. The Online Child Development Certificate is a 12 clock hour program that focuses on the growth and development of children from birth to five years old. Understanding child development helps a teacher set realistic expectations, and anticipate a child's needs which can result in a more manageable classroom with lower stress levels. Completion of this certificate program will provide early childhood professionals with the knowledge needed to determine the most appropriate environment, materials, interactions and activities for the children in their care. The Online Health and Safety Certificate is a 12 clock hour program that provides early care professionals training in planning a safe and healthy early childhood learning environment. Complete this certificate program and learn how to create a safe environment that meets licensing requirements and safety standards. Early childhood professionals with health and safety specific training are also better prepared to respond to health and safety issues within the classroom, when they do arise. CCEI certificate programs offer child care professionals flexible options for completing professional development and meeting licensing requirements. All of CCEI's coursework is online and provides user-friendly access, rolling enrollment and a self-paced learning environment. Accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, CCEI coursework allows students to maintain a family-work balance while continuing their education. Completed coursework is awarded IACET CEUs. To enroll in a CCEI Certificate program, select online enrollment. About ChildCare Education Institute |
